Hotel Review: Park Hyatt Dubai

Hotel Review: Park Hyatt Dubai

I love Dubai. I never thought I’d say that, but after my last layover, I think I dig it.

It’s HOT, it’s sunny, it’s a city, it’s a desert and there’s a beach too!

I had a long transit (layover) for 12 hours when I was traveling from Male, Maldives to Honolulu, HI, and I chose to stay at the Park Hyatt Dubai for some R&R. It was close to the airport, within 15 minutes, and still in a lovely location, on the Dubai creek. And it was Ramadan when I flew in so the airport and hotel were empty. Perfect, I can rest!

The hotel was beautiful. Superbly appointed, and the architecture was thoughtful. My room was a Park King. I had a view of the creek and in the distance, I could see Burj Khalifa! The room was spacious and I loved the little delicate touches like the calla lily on the desk and the etched glass in the shower.

The bathroom was large and I loved the soaking tub! What a beauty!

I sat on the small lanai and watched the Seawings Dubai planes come and go from the creek!

And the view from afternoon into the evening was so peaceful.

Park Hyatt Dubai – View from my room. Day into night.

I will surely be back as one day was definitely too short!

Verdict = Thumbs Up!
