Jefe's - Tacos, Tequila & Hip-Hop!

If you haven’t been to Longmont, Colorado yet, there is a plethora of fantastic eateries awaiting your arrival! And Jefe’s Tacos and Tequila on Main Street is one of them! *Note: Their signage used to read “Hefe’s,” hence the feature photo. Perhaps a significant number of people commented on the spelling with an “H,” since in Spanish, ‘boss’ or ‘chief’ is translated to Jefe.

After a fantastic day of hiking Mills Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park, my friend who lives in Longmont took our hiking guru and me to Jefe’s and it was everything she raved about and more!

Firstly, the music is bangin’! I went to the ladies room to wash my hands and was singing along to 2Pac’s Changes. Then I heard Outkast, Mos Def, CeeLo and more! The manager, Ryan, mentioned to us that he was uncertain how the community would receive the music, but he wanted to play something that would complement his time working there, and this was the winner! Hey, I love old school hip-hop, so I was happy! Jamming out while eating creative and outstandingly yummy tacos? Win! The drinks seemed to be a hit too!
